The crossing at Nogales was a breeze. There was a short wait in line and then we were directed to a parking area for inspection. We showed Sitka’s rabies vaccination certificate and her certificate of health; opened the truck canopy, Coleman cooler, and trailer; and showed a copy of our list of our belongings (menaje de casa) that we had certified at the Mexican Consulate in Seattle. Fortunately, we didn’t have to unload or unpack anything! Mike and I continue to be amazed at our “luck” in this crazy life we share together.

Glad to hear that it went well.
Glad you had a good day.
so happy to hear that the trip was uneventful. glad you are safe and sound and welcome back to the U.S.A. sitka looks adorable. i showed one of her pictures to my friend in the keys who has a german shepeherd. her name is grizzly and she and sitka look a lot alike-maybe i already told you that in an e-mail. anyway, i'm glad you all made the trip back north together. when do you plan to arrive in salem? enjoy the rest of your trip.
