A Lot on My Mind

I have a lot to contemplate right now. It is almost overwhelming. But I stopped to practice my Haiku. What do you think?

Dry cracked leaves fly by
Stacks grow quickly with the wind…
Happy cat pounces

Snow is all around
Silence is all I can hear;
White is white on white

¡Hola Señor Zapata y Señor Algodón! Contemplatively doin’ good. Yep, that’s me.

But that Haiku makes you think…counting syllables and all and trying to evoke sadness. It really helps me escape the reality of it all.

Thanks for stopping by!

hi cynhthia,

almost settled into our new house ans we love it except we've a few little challenges getting to know how to use some of the appliances, but i will write more about that in my news from nagoya on monday (your sunday)
we finally got internet access 2 days ago but had a lot of trouble with it at first, another challenge but no big deal.

it just dawned on me that i hadn't read any blogs aso i checked your out and got caught up. can you guess which is my favorite blanket? i'm sure you guessed correctly and said the kitty cat one. i love the mexican one too and of course it's extra special since it belonged to your mom.

love your haiku. good luck with the job search. it is definiteiy a tough job market. matt still hasn't found anything in his field and neither has one of my my friend's son.

take care and say hi to mike. i look forward to getting an e-mail from you soon.

Hello Teresa! I was wondering what happened to you - I'm glad you're back online and that you checked out my blankets. I'm glad to hear you're getting settled...maybe we need another guest post from you?? I'll email you.

dang, i just read my comment to you and can't believe the spelling mistakes. i'm such a stickler for spelling. i must have been real tired when i wrote that. i just sent out my nfn e-mail. sure hope i didn't make as many errors. i'd be happy to have you write a guest post. i still think you should go into writing-you are so good at it.
it's been a long day and i'm ready to hit the sack.

i look forward to your e-mail. by the way, i'm going to see if steve will load some pictures for me later this week, so if you do write a guest post, you can use some of them if you'd like.

have a great week!
