Last week on Tuesday I had a wonderful surprise.
I was sitting at my Nintendo desk and I got a call from the Receptionist. She told me that I had FLOWERS waiting for me.
Flowers? I thought, it's not my birthday, it's not my wedding anniversary, it's not Valentine's Day...why would I have flowers delivered at work?
They were from Mike and the card read:
Thinking about you
Still in love
I called Mike and he told me it was "I Love Cynthia Day." THANK YOU MIKE!!! xoxo

Now THAT's an inspired bit of lovemaking! Bet you couldn't wait to get home and give Mike a hug. Give him one for me, too. I miss you both.
We often forget to do nice special things once we get married. It is nice to see the reaction of one's spouse when you bring back things you use to do when dating...

Hello Tancho - You're so right about forgetting to do nice, special things. I almost lost Mike twice, once when he totalled his Harley and once when he had two seizures in Mexico City. It makes us appreciate each day a little more than if those things hadn't happened. He's a good guy. I think I'll hang onto him!
how very sweet of him! i told steve he didn`t need to give me anything for our anniversary but hinted that flowers would be nice. he did get them for me occasionally bach home for no special reason. they are always greatly appreciated-i love flowers.
